Hi Anup, I have seen in your photos that you had camped at Ghangad. My concern was, how safe is it as its a fort that not many people know of?
We also have girls in our group. So are there any precautions that we might have to take?

Hi, Ghangad is pretty safe as the base village is just 30mins from the top of the fort.
However, I would like to mention that the road that goes from Tamhini to the fort is very lonely. In the 30km patch from Tamhini ghat to Ghangad, we saw only 2-3 vehicles enroute.
If there are girls in your group, it would be ideal if your group size is of 10+ persons. Its always better to go in a bigger group when safety is a concern.
The villagers at the base village are very helpful, so once you get there you should not have any issues.
