hey i m prathamesh from from dombivli, mumbai!! me and my frnds r planning rajgad trek next weekend for 2 days!! all of us have done more than 5 trecks before!! so we r not beginers but we r not experts either!! can u tell me which way is beetr for us! via gunjavne or via pali??
i read on ur website that gunjavne is little tough!! as its rainy season, is it safe 2 go by that way?? and how 2 reach pali from pune??

The route via Pali is much simpler compared to the route via Gunjawane. Please check the image attached for directions on how to reach pali via pune.
Pali is the best route for novice trekkers are there are no steep patches. Its basically just hiking for 2-3 hours and you will find plenty of trees to rest while trekking.
For going to Pali from Pune, you gotta take NH4 and head towards satara side.
After you pass the first toll you would find a diversion to the right. The name of that crossing is Nasrapur Phata.
From here you can ask the locals for direction to Pali or gunjawane. Check the rough map attached.
