Hi Kamlesh,

1. Good season to visit Vasota fort would be during winter or summer. In rainy season the forest dept wont allow trekking as there are too many leaches. Infact they would not issue you any permission to venture into the forest during the rainy season

2. Permission can be taken the day you visit Bamnoli. You need to fill a form with all your and your friends details.
Also carry some id proof with you. Please carry some government recognized ID proof [ex. Pan card, License, Voter id] etc.

3. You cannot stay on the fort at night. It is not allowed as the forest dept will give you a strict warning to be at the base of the fort by 5:30pm. Wild animals are active during the night and hence camping or staying on the fort at night is not allowed.
