We are planning a weekend trip to Rajmachi fort and would like to know if we can get accommodation below the fort at the village. Do the locals give out their place to tourist.
Recently we visited Kaas valley and had a great time living with the locals.
You can get decent accommodation at Kune Village which is the base village for Rajmachi. Please note that the accomodation facilities will be very basic as this place is in a very remote location. Sanity might be an issue for people from the city. The villagers can also cook food for you on request. Do try the local food that you would get at the base village.
Note: You might be tempted to drink cold drinks after a long trek. But, do check the expiry dates on those. These villages are pretty remote and their stock doesnt get sold out easily.
